Kolo Muani absent from Eintracht Frankfurt training to force PSG move

Eintracht Frankfurt have announced that Randal Kolo Muani refused to train today and is trying to force a move to Paris Saint-Germain

The 24-year-old is keen on joining the Parisians this summer, but Frankfurt do not want to let him go without recouping €100 million.

The German club has reportedly rejected two sizeable cash offers and another bid of €65 million plus Hugo Ekitike.

Frankfurt are putting up a fight, and the player decided to take matters into his own hands yesterday, telling German media that he wants to leave.

He announced that PSG submitted a massive offer to Die Adler, and he thinks they should let him go. He has gone a step further by failing to attend training today.

However, Frankfurt have maintained it would take €100 million for the French international to leave despite signing him for free from Nantes last summer.

Kolo Muani bagged 23 goals and 17 assists in 46 appearances for Frankfurt last term and spearheaded them to the final of the DFB Pokal.

Despite getting only a few minutes, he also made his presence felt at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

His performances caught the eye of several European powerhouses, but Frankfurt’s demands forced them to look elsewhere.

PSG have remained in the race and want to wrap the deal before Friday’s transfer deadline.

It remains to be seen if Kolo Muani’s antics will force Frankfurt’s hand. They have been unwavering in their stance for most of the summer.

However, their interest in Ekitike may make them listen to the Ligue 1 champions. They want the former Reims star and could consider PSG’s proposal.
