Aleksandar Mitrovic is set to join Al-Hilal after the Saudi Pro League club reached an agreement with Fulham.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the two clubs have agreed on a transfer fee worth more than €50 million.
The 28-year-old will pen a three-year contract, keeping him at the club until 2026.
Al-Hilal made the Serbian their top striker target in the summer transfer window.
Despite seeing their first two bids rejected, they continued their pursuit and are now on the verge of wrapping up a deal for him.
Mitrovic wasn’t part of the matchday squad for Saturday’s London derby against Brentford. Manager Marco Silva claimed he had a minor ankle injury.
The Serbia international has made no secret of his desire to move to the Middle East.
He even embarked on a strike to force a transfer to the Saudi outfit willing to offer him a very lucrative contract.
But he is about to see his wish fulfilled with Fulham agreeing to part with him for a package worth more than €50m.
Mitrovic played an instrumental role in helping the Cottagers finish 10th in the table last season.
He made 24 appearances in the Premier League, registering 14 goals and two assists.
His departure will be a blow for Fulham, but keeping an unhappy player at Craven Cottage would have been risky.
