Bayern star Harry Kane signs new sponsorship deal with Skechers

England captain Harry Kane has signed a new sponsorship deal with global footwear giants Skechers.

The 30-year-old, who only recently completed a mega-money move to German heavyweights Bayern Munich, took to his Twitter account to unveil the new Skechers football boots SKX_01.

Kane was seen wearing a masked version of the footwear throughout the pre-season with former club Tottenham Hotspur and during his Bayern debut last Saturday.

However, the new boots did not bring him any luck at the Allianz Arena as his new side fell to a humiliating 3-0 DFL Supercup defeat to RB Leipzig.

The deal marks a major endorsement move for both parties, with Kane’s status as one of the Premier League’s most prolific goalscorers aligning with Skechers’ growing presence in sports endorsements.

The long-term partnership will see Kane become the face of Skechers’ performance-oriented line of athletic footwear.

The England international will be at the forefront of the brand’s first football boots launching in the United Kingdom and Europe in September.

He will also appear in a multiplatform marketing campaign as a brand ambassador.

SKX_01 epitomises modern football footwear crafted for professional players who desire boots that offer a precise blend of control and comfort on the pitch.

Kane, whose shirt sales have smashed Bayern’s merchandise income record, is expected to launch the boots when the new Bundesliga campaign begins.

The perennial German champions will begin their Bundesliga title defence at the Weserstadion, where they will trade tackles with Werder Bremen on Friday.
