Eintracht Frankfurt are braced for a bid from Paris Saint-Germain for their French striker Randal Kolo Muani before the transfer window closes.
They value the Frenchman at €100 million, and German news outlet Bild reports they will not negotiate a lower fee when PSG come knocking.
Kolo Muani had previously expressed a desire to continue at the Deutsche Bank Park when several clubs were lining up to capture his signature earlier this summer.
But Les Parisiens have reportedly convinced the 24-year-old to return to his homeland in a move that will undoubtedly guarantee him a bumper pay rise.
However, despite reaching an agreement on personal terms with the player, the Ligue 1 champions are yet to submit an official proposal to Frankfurt.
Die Adler are under no pressure to part ways with Kolo Muani, who committed to a five-year contract when he signed from Nantes on a free transfer last summer.
The France international has four years left on his initial agreement, handing Frankfurt the upper hand in negotiations over an early departure.
Having seen PSG pocket around €95m from Neymar’s sale, the Germans are convinced it’s only a matter of time until they come calling for Kolo Muani.
However, they are prepared to force their French counterparts to cough up the proceeds from Neymar’s sale and more before sanctioning Kolo Muani’s departure.
Kolo Muani wasted no time adapting to the German top flight last term as he bagged 23 goals and 17 assists in 46 appearances across all competitions.
The Frenchman has already kicked off the new campaign as he means to go on, having opened the scoring in Frankfurt’s 7-0 demolition of Lok Leipzig in the DFB Pokal.
His goalscoring exploits have proven too good for PSG to ignore, and speculation in France claims they are preparing to test Frankfurt’s resolve with an offer worth €70m.
It seems they will need to revise their imminent proposal if they want to pry the striker away from Frankfurt after just 12 months.
