Liverpool are braced for another raid from the free-spending Saudi Pro League amid reports they have set their sights on goalkeeper Alisson.
Foot Mercato reports that Al Nassr are interested in the Brazilian shot-stopper who will not be opposed to the move.
Alisson has been vital to Liverpool’s success since joining from AS Roma in 2018.
He has barely been absent from the Liverpool squad since he arrived, racking up an impressive 103 clean sheets in 232 appearances over the last five years.
The 30-year-old was a commanding influence in the Liverpool backline last term, making 114 saves on an average of 3.0 per 90.
His heroics between the sticks resulted in 14 clean sheets – a tally only bettered by former Manchester United goalkeeper and Golden Glove winner David De Gea (17).
Alisson looks to have picked up where he left off last season following his impressive display in Liverpool’s Premier League opener against Chelsea.
He made four saves and recorded a 68% pass accuracy in Sunday’s 1-1 draw against the Blues at Stamford Bridge.
Considering his impact on the team and influence in the dressing room, he would be a massive miss for the Reds if a transfer materialises.
The report claims he is not opposed to moving to the Saudi Pro League, which does not bode well for Liverpool’s chances of keeping him at Anfield.
The Reds have lost several influential figures this summer, including James Milner, Roberto Firmino and former captain Jordan Henderson.
The Reds cannot afford to lose Alisson, who has won six major titles with the Merseyside club, including the Premier League and Champions League.
However, the Brazilian is reportedly tempted by the challenge and could reunite with Sadio Mane in the Middle East if Al-Nassr pursue their interest.
