The draw for the second round of the League Cup has been carried out.
Chelsea, who last won the cup competition in 2015 and also reached the final in 2022, have been handed a favourable draw with League Two outfit AFC Wimbledon.
The Blues will be aiming to perform better after suffering an early third-round exit last season at the hands of Manchester City.
Tottenham Hotspur will take on Fulham and will be eager to impress under new manager Ange Postecoglou.
Spurs suffered an early elimination from the tournament last term, with Nottingham Forest knocking them out in the third round.
Brentford will make the trip to Newport County while Crystal Palace meet Plymouth Argyle later this month.
Newly promoted Burnley will play Nottingham Forest in an all-Premier League tie, while Sean Dyche’s Everton will travel to League Two outfit Doncaster.
Leicester City play Tranmere Rovers and Leeds United will go head-to-head with Salford City.
Wolverhampton Wanderers, who recently confirmed Gary O’Neil as their new manager, have been drawn with Blackpool.
