Kane not included in Tottenham squad travelling to Barcelona

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has not been included in the squad travelling to Barcelona

Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol says the 30-year-old will not be flying to Spain for Spurs’ final pre-season match with the Catalans.

Several players involved in the Lilywhites’ 5-1 win over Shakhtar Donetsk are not part of the squad, and Kane’s absence has nothing to do with his future at the club.

There has been plenty of speculation in the media regarding the striker’s future at Tottenham.

With a year remaining on his current contract, he has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich this summer.

The Bavarians recently made a bid worth more than €100 million including add-ons to sign him, but Spurs rejected their offer

Despite facing the risk of losing him for nothing next summer, the Premier League outfit are unwilling to sell him in this transfer window

It remains to be seen whether Bayern will come up with another offer for Kane or turn to alternative targets.

Kane has made it clear that he wants his future resolved before the start of the new Premier League season.

The Bavarians will have to act fast if they are to make another offer for him.
