Barcelona submit offer to sign Ivan Fresneda

Barcelona are making significant strides as they chase Real Valladolid’s Ivan Fresneda, according to Relevo.

Barca reportedly submitted an initial offer of €8-10 million for Fresneda, but Valladolid are holding out for more to part ways with their prized asset.

Despite the potential hurdle, all parties involved are eager to wrap up the deal quickly.

The 18-year-old right-back has been on the radar of several top European clubs, but it seems the Catalan giants are in pole position to secure his signature.

Barcelona and Valladolid have engaged in talks to negotiate a deal for the promising defender.

Fresneda’s agents and Valladolid officials convened today to assess Barcelona’s bid and discuss the terms.

The youngster has attracted interest from AC Milan, Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund during the summer transfer window.

Dortmund were reportedly close to securing his services, but the deal eventually collapsed.

The situation in Barcelona’s right-back position has created a sense of urgency, and Fresneda seems to be the answer they’ve been seeking.

With rumours swirling that Barcelona may part ways with Sergino Dest, the club is keen on securing Fresneda as their future right-back.

It’s worth noting that Fresneda’s release clause stands at €20m, but Barcelona are determined not to pay that much.

However, the club’s concrete interest in the talented youngster indicates their seriousness in bringing him to Spotify Camp Nou.

As the negotiations unfold, there have been whispers of a potential player exchange between Barcelona and Valladolid.

Reports suggest that Valladolid could be eyeing Barcelona’s Estanis Pedrola as part of the deal, although the specifics are yet to be ironed out.

For Barcelona fans, having Fresneda representing their iconic colours is exciting, and this deal looks likely to go through.
