Tottenham Hotspur are pursuing Eintracht Frankfurt’s electrifying forward Randa l Kolo Muani, per Sacha Tavolieri.
The move is linked to the possible departure of Spurs striker Harry Kane to Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.
Talks between Tottenham and the 24-year-old have already commenced, and Kolo Muani seems eager to embrace the exciting opportunity of playing in the Premier League.
His performances last season catapulted him into the global spotlight.
Kolo Muani’s breakthrough campaign with Die Adler was exceptional, amassing 23 goals and 17 assists in 46 appearances.
The striker’s talent shone as he helped Frankfurt reach the DFB-Pokal final. He bagged six goals and three assists in just five games.
Kolo Muani also enjoyed success in the Champions League, netting two goals.
He represented France at the 2022 World Cup, scoring twice and enhancing his growing reputation.
Tottenham’s pursuit of Kolo Muani has gained urgency as the club has reportedly received the green light to offload Harry Kane to Bayern Munich.
With Kane unwilling to extend his contract, Spurs want to rake in a substantial fee of up to £100 million for the Englishman.
This sum will undoubtedly fuel the move for Kolo Muani, whose market value is between €80-100m.
The former Nantes man recently snubbed Paris Saint-Germain’s advances. Bayern also expressed interest in signing him before turning their attention to Kane.
Frankfurt’s sporting director, Markus Krosche, was insisting on €100m for Kolo Muani, who has four years left on the five-year deal he signed when he first joined.
However, he could accept a slightly lower fee for the Bondy-born forward.
Kolo Muani’s transfer could expedite Kane’s transfer to Bayern, completing the intricate transfer domino effect.
