Bayern Munich are reportedly planning to launch a third bid for Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane.
Manager Ange Postecoglou recently urged the club to sort out the 29-year-old’s transfer saga quickly, warning the uncertainty over his future is unhelpful.
The Bavarians have had two bids rejected for him, with Spurs determined to keep the England captain.
The striker has entered the final year of his contract, and they face the risk of losing him for free next summer.
Kane is keen to join the Bundesliga champions, but chairman Daniel Levy wants a whopping £120 million fee to let him leave in this transfer window.
Spurs’ demands for a deal are unrealistic and Bayern are very unlikely to meet their valuation.
They made a £70 million offer for the experienced striker that was turned down by Tottenham.
The Times claim they are ready to make an improved bid.
Kane doesn’t want to pen an extension even though the club are ready to make him the joint-highest-paid player in the Premier League.
Daniel Levy is not in a strong bargaining position, and Bayern are hopeful he will change his stance regarding Kane.
He has been one of their most important players over the years, netting 280 goals in 435 senior appearances.
But they will lose him for nothing next summer if they don’t sell him in this transfer window.
