Juventus target move for Kessie as Pogba considers Saudi League offer

Juventus want to sign Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie this summer, according to Corriere della Sera.

Midfielder Paul Pogba is considering a move to Saudi Arabia and Juve will need a replacement if he leaves.

Injuries hindered Pogba last season and he barely contributed to the Turin club following his free transfer from Manchester United.

Juventus are open to cutting their losses and selling the French international. He is one of the highest earners on their books.

They will push for Kessie, who has plenty of Serie A experience from his time with AC Milan and Atalanta.

Kessie left the Rossoneri to sign for Barcelona on a free transfer but was on the bench for most of the season.

He was behind Gavi, Pedri, Frenkie De Jong and Sergio Busquets in the pecking order.

Barca have let Busquets go but have added Ilkay Gundogan and Oriol Romeu to their squad. The competition in midfield is stiff.

The Ivorian box-to-box dynamo was planning to stay at the Catalan club, but Barca had other plans.

Despite Juventus’ transfer plans, Barcelona want to do a swap deal with Atletico Madrid for Joao Felix. The move involves Kessie and Ferran Torres.

The Portuguese attacker has declared his love for the La Liga champions, angering his club.

Atletico want to move him on but have been demanding €100 million, which most clubs are reluctant to pay. The only offer they have received is from Aston Villa.

Kessie also has offers from Turkey and Saudi Arabia, but returning to Serie A will likely appeal to him.
