Paris Saint-Germain ultras have sent a warning to Juventus attacker Dusan Vlahovic following links to the club.
PSG are in the market for a striker, with Kylian Mbappe and Hugo Ekitike set to leave the club this summer. Vlahovic is one of the names on their shortlist.
The 23-year-old is on his way out of Turin after a poor spell for the Bianconeri. Following his €80 million transfer to Juventus from Fiorentina, he has scored only 23 goals in 63 appearances.
Vlahovic netted only ten Serie A goals in 22 appearances last term. Many people argue the system has limited his goalscoring chances, while others believe he is not up to the task.
Juventus want to sell him and have asked for a sum close to the initial fee they paid. PSG have emerged as possible suitors, but their fans are already making their feelings known about the centre-forward.
PSG ultras held up a banner reading: “If you come, we will cut three of your fingers.”
According to Marca, the message is in response to Vlahovic showing three fingers after a game for Serbia. They claim it is a reference to Serbian supremacy over Kosovo.
Vlahovic has also been pictured wearing a shirt showing Kosovo as a part of Serbia.
PSG’s ultras have a penchant for displays like this over incoming signings. They recently held up a banner for Lucas Hernandez, saying he was not welcome at the club.
They are reportedly unhappy because his father, Jean-Francois Hernandez, played for PSG’s bitter rivals Marseille.
They also hold a grudge against him due to his involvement with Bayern Munich when they defeated PSG in the 2020 Champions League final.
However, the higher-ups at the club are not on the same wavelength as they went ahead and signed the Frenchman for around €45 million.
It is unclear if PSG will sign Vlahovic from Juventus. While he is on their transfer shortlist, he is not at the top of it.
Les Parisiens are still eyeing a move for Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen or Randal Kolo Muani. They will only move for Vlahovic if they cannot secure these targets.
