Harry Kane returns for pre-season training at Tottenham amid huge interest from Bayern Munich

Man United ready mega bid for Tottenham striker Harry Kane

Harry Kane has returned to pre-season training at Tottenham Hotspur amid transfer interest from Bayern Munich and Manchester United.

The 29-year-old’s contract expires next summer, and the club face the risk of losing him for free.

Despite one year remaining in the striker’s deal, Tottenham want a whopping £120 million fee to let him leave in this transfer window.

United have seemingly abandoned their pursuit of the England international due to the enormous price tag, but they could return with an offer if Spurs soften their stance.

Bayern have had two bids rejected for Kane, with the second offer reportedly around £70m.

Tottenham tweeted a video on Wednesday that showed the 29-year-old returning to pre-season training.

He now faces crunch talks with new manager Ange Postecoglou over his future.

Kane is open to all options regarding his future and will listen to the Australian manager’s sales pitch.

Spurs are desperate to keep hold of their star striker who has been one of their best players over the years.

They are ready to make him the joint-highest-paid player in the Premier League by offering a new £400,000-per-week deal.

However, it still looks difficult that they can convince the forward to extend his stay.

He wants to win major silverware at this stage of his career, but he is unlikely to see his wish fulfilled if he remains at his present club.
