England will play their Euro 2024 qualifier against Ukraine in Poland

England will play their 2024 European Championship away qualifier against Ukraine in Poland on September 9.

The Ukrainian Association of Football confirmed the match will be held at the Tarczynski Arena in Wroclaw, which can accommodate more than 45,000 people.

The Blue and Yellow have been playing their home fixtures overseas after Russia’s invasion of their country in February 2022.

They held their Nations League home matches in Poland last year – two in Lodz and one in Krakow.

Ukraine’s most recent fixture against Malta took place in Trnava, Slovakia, last month.

England have been excellent in the Euro qualifiers, winning all four matches in Group C.

Gareth Southgate’s side won 2-1 in Italy before beating Ukraine 2-0 at Wembley Stadium in March

The Three Lions then claimed emphatic victories over Malta and North Macedonia last month by a combined 11-0 score.

England came agonisingly close to winning the previous edition of the European Championship when they made it to the final, only to lose to Italy on penalties.

They are regarded as favourites to win the prestigious competition once again, alongside France and Germany.
