Juventus enquire about €15m-rated Barcelona winger Ez Abde

Juventus have made an approach for Barcelona winger Ez Abde ahead of a potential summer transfer, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.

The Moroccan youngster was the show stealer at the recent U23 Africa Cup of Nations, bagging three goals and three assists to help his team win the title.

His form was preceded by an impressive loan spell at Osasuna last season. He was pivotal for the Spanish side to reach the final of Copa del Rey before losing to Real Madrid.

The 21-year-old faces an uncertain future at Camp Nou and has been regularly linked with an exit as part of Barca’s summer clearout.

Xavi is happy to keep Abde under his supervision due to the lack of quality wingers in the squad and the financial limitations preventing him from investing in quality forwards.

However, Barca may not rule out the sale of Abde if a suitable offer arrives.

Juve have registered their interest in the Moroccan forward, but they would have to cough up €15 million to prise him away from the Catalan club.

The Bianconeri’s economic woes are also well-documented, although they have a great chance to generate significant funds with the potential sale of Dusan Vlahovic.

The Serbian striker is seen as the most bankable asset in the transfer market, with Juve placing a price tag in the region of €70 million amid interest from several European clubs.

Attacking reinforcements are a priority for the Old Lady after the departure of Angel Di Maria and the uncertainty over the futures of Federico Chiesa and Moise Kean.

The Old Lady recently welcomed Timothy Weah as their first summer signing from Lille while also making Arkadiusz Milik’s loan deal permanent from Marseille.
