Chelsea could move for Harry Kane in 2024 if Tottenham keep him

Chelsea will consider making a transfer swoop for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane in 2024, according to the Telegraph.

The Blues know the 29-year-old has commissioned a new family house close to Wentworth Golf Cub.

The new home is in the west of London, just 15 miles from the club’s Cobham training ground.

Kane and his family began the project some time ago, and contractors are now close to completing it.

The Spurs captain lives with his wife Kate and their three children in Hampstead in north London.

However, the couple want to move as they are expecting their fourth child later this year.

The new house is on the private Wentworth Estate and connects to the famous golf club in Surrey. Kane is a fanatic golfer.

If the England international does not move this summer, he will be available on a free transfer in 2024. Chelsea will be monitoring his situation.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy does not want to sell the centre-forward but risks losing him for free as the player has only 12 months on his contract.

Chelsea have not put an offer on the table yet, but it is an option they will consider if he stays in England.

New Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino knows Kane from their time together at Tottenham. The Argentine manager could convince him to join the club.

However, there is still the possibility that the forward will leave Spurs this summer. Bayern Munich are in hot pursuit as they search for a new striker.

Levy is making things hard for the Bavarians, who made two bids. Levy rejected both and is requesting at least £100 million to sell.

The British businessman also rejected an approach from Manchester United. The Red Devils had Kane as their number-one summer target but have moved on to other names.

It is unclear where Kane will be plying his trade next season. But if he decides to run down his contract, Chelsea will evaluate the possibility of signing him.
