Serie A giants Inter Milan are evaluating short-term options to replace current number one goalkeeper Andre Onana, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Nerazzurri are looking at three low-cost options to sign when/if they sell the Cameroon international this summer.
They are cash-strapped and do not have the funds to make heavy expenditures.
They are ready to lose Onana this summer, with Chelsea and Manchester United interested in signing him after his stellar campaign.
If Onana leaves, Inter have three names on their shortlist to replace the former Ajax shot-stopper. They are evaluating moves for Keylor Navas, Yann Sommer, and Hugo Lloris.
Navas spent the second half of last season on loan at Nottingham Forest from Paris Saint-Germain.
The 36-year-old is looking for a new destination as he knows it will be difficult to usurp PSG’s first-choice keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
The Costa Rican is looking for regular playing time and could move to Italy to find it. Les Parisiens will likely demand a meagre fee for Navas.
Another option for the Serie A side is Yann Sommer. The Swiss international could be on his way out of Bayern Munich after only half a season.
Sommer came in to replace Manuel Neuer. The German keeper suffered a hiking accident after the 2022 World Cup and missed the rest of the campaign.
Sommer has not impressed since joining Die Rekordmeister from Borussia Monchengladbach.
With Neuer back from injury and Alexander Nubel returning from his two-year loan spell at AS Monaco, Sommer could be heading for the exit door.
The last option for Inter is Hugo Lloris, who is leaving Tottenham Hotspur this summer after 11 years. Following a slump in his performances, the club has decided to let him go.
Lloris has offers from the Saudi League and Ligue 1 teams but could consider a move to Italy.
