Fulham are considering a move for AC Milan outcast Fode Ballo-Toure, according to Foot Mercato.
The 26-year-old full-back has struggled to assert himself in the Rossoneri squad since arriving from AS Monaco in 2021.
Ballo-Toure has made just 26 appearances for the Serie A giants since arriving at the Guiseppe Meazza two seasons ago and is desperate for a fresh challenge elsewhere.
Injury problems have played a part in his limited playing time at Milan, but the Senegalese defender has also found it difficult to displace Theo Hernandez at left-back.
Ballo-Toure endured another torrid campaign with the Rossoneri last season, scoring just once in 14 appearances across all competitions.
The Senegal international has two years left on his current contract with Milan. However, he is desperate to leave the San Siro this summer in search of regular playing time.
Fulham could extend an escape route to the former Paris Saint-Germain academy player, with the Cottagers scouring the transfer market for a new left-back.
The Premier League club are braced for offers for their first-choice left-back Antonee Robinson, who is attracting interest from across Europe after an impressive campaign.
The United States international was one of the standout performers in Fulham’s astonishing campaign, where they defied expectations to finish in the top half of the Premier League.
The 25-year-old made 35 league appearances as Marco Silva’s side finished tenth last term despite being touted for a relegation battle.
Robinson’s impressive performances have not gone under the radar, with the likes of Manchester City, Newcastle United and Inter Milan weighing up a summer swoop.
The former Wigan Athletic man has one year left on his contract with Fulham, who will have to sell this summer to avoid losing the left back on a free transfer next year.
They are demanding £35 million from potential suitors – a figure that will be reinvested into a replacement and other areas of the squad.
