Fulham will move for Fiorentina centre-back Igor Julio if they lose Tosin Adarabioyo, according to Standard Sport.
Inter Milan are eyeing Adarabioyo after an impressive campaign in which he helped the Cottagers finish in the middle of the Premier League table.
Adarabioyo played 25 games and helped keep three clean sheets. He won 64% of his duels and showcased his prowess on the ball.
His performances have attracted the interest of the Serie A giants, who are looking for a replacement for Milan Skriniar following his free transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.
Inter could lose Stefan de Vrij this summer. They need defensive reinforcements and have their eye on the Fulham man.
Other clubs have shown interest in Adarabioyo’s services apart from the Nerazzurri.
If he leaves, Fulham will push for La Viola man Igor who impressed as they reached the final of the Coppa Italia and Europa Conference League. They finished eighth in Serie A.
Fiorentina are ready to cash in on the Brazilian defender they signed from SPAL.
Plans to keep Marco Silva
Fulham want to move convincingly in the summer transfer window to keep manager Marco Silva.
After bringing them up from the Championship, the Portuguese coach has kept them up convincingly.
Silva attracted interest, most notably from West Ham United.
However, the Hammers have decided to continue with manager David Moyes after he led them to the Europa Conference League title.
Fulham hope their transfer activity will help keep Silva at Craven Cottage longer. They are in talks with him over a new deal.
Silva’s contract expires in 2024. It has a £6 million clause that interested parties can activate.
Despite plans to sell Adarabioyo, Fulham want to keep influential midfielder Joao Palhinha.
The midfield enforcer is crucial for his manager, and they will be eager to resist interest from Aston Villa and West Ham.
Silva wants Fulham to sign Manor Solomon permanently despite competition from Tottenham Hotspur.
