The Europa Conference League final between Fiorentina and West Ham United takes place at the Fortuna Arena in Prague on Wednesday, June 7.
It’s the first time these sides have qualified for a European final in the 21st century, and we will be seeing the second-ever Europa Conference League champions after Roma won the inaugural event last season.

What do you need to know?
Fiorentina
It’s been 62 years since Fiorentina last had a taste of continental glory, lifting the 1960/61 European Cup Winners’ Cup.
However, Vincenzo Italiano’s men have excelled in the Europa Conference League this season despite finishing runners-up to Istanbul Basaksehir in Group A.
La Viola only lost once in the group stage before overcoming Sporting Braga, Sivasspor, Lech Poznan and Basel in the knockout rounds en route to booking a European final date for the first time in over half a century.
In doing so, Fiorentina netted a staggering 36 goals in 14 matches to enter the title-deciding fixture as the competition’s most prolific team.
Arthur Cabral leads the Europa Conference League scoring charts with seven goals, suggesting the Italians have every reason to dream big in the Czech Republic’s capital.
West Ham United
Unlike Fiorentina, West Ham’s most recent foray into a European final dates back to 1999 when they conquered the UEFA Intertoto Cup.
The Hammers also won the European Cup Winners’ Cup in 1964/65, only four years after La Viola’s triumph in the competition, but they’ve been largely absent from the big stage since.
After landing a top spot in this season’s Europa Conference League Group B with all six wins, David Moyes’ team ousted AEK Larnaca, Gent and AZ Alkmaar to set up this contest.
As the only side yet to lose a single game in the competition this season, West Ham will touch down at the Fortuna Arena in a buoyant mood.
It will be a homecoming fixture for Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal, who already graced this field during their time at Slavia Prague.

View from the camps
Vincenzo Italiano, Fiorentina head coach: “It is my first season in Europe and reaching the final is a great satisfaction.
This path to the final will always remain with us but now we have a mission to complete. Having three teams in the final is a reason of great pride for Italian football. I’m sure we all have a say in the final.”
David Moyes, West Ham manager: “We’re absolutely thrilled. It’s a big achievement for the club, but now it’s about going and winning it.”
