Feyenoord boss Arne Slot willing to become new Tottenham Hotspur manager

Feyenoord boss Arne Slot is reportedly open to becoming Tottenham Hotspur’s new manager.

Spurs have been without a permanent boss since they sacked Antonio Conte following his stunning rant at owner Daniel Levy.

They put Cristian Stellini in temporary charge but the Italian was also dismissed after the 6-1 thrashing at Newcastle United.

Ryan Mason has been serving as interim boss, but the results have been highly disappointing under the 31-year-old.

Tottenham are in serious danger of missing out on a spot in next season’s Europa League.

However, they have received a boost in their pursuit of Arne Slot who is reportedly keen to become their new manager.

This is according to Dutch outlet De Telegraaf who are claiming the 44-year-old has a £6 million release clause in his current deal at the club.

Slot has earned plenty of praise for his impressive work in the Netherlands with AZ Alkmaar and Feyenoord.

He led his side to the Eredivisie title earlier this month following their comfortable victory over Go Ahead Eagles, ending Ajax’s run of three straight titles.

Slot also guided De Stadionclub to the Europa Conference League final last season before making it to the Europa League quarter-finals this year. They were beaten both times was ended by AS Roma.

Julian Nagelsmann was also linked with the vacant job at Tottenham, but the German is reportedly now out of the race
