Sadio Mane not keen on leaving Bayern Munich this summer

Sadio Mane has no plans of leaving Bayern Munich this summer, reports Taggat journalist Papa Mahmoud Gueye.

The Senegalese has been linked with an exit after failing to impress in his debut season in Germany.

Mane was involved in a physical altercation with Leroy Sane last month, with reports claiming the German aimed a racial slur at him.

The former Liverpool star was out of action due to an injury, and he has been unable to perform consistently since regaining full fitness.

It appeared his problems on the pitch and in the dressing room were going to force him out.

However, the 31-year-old is not interested in calling it quits.

Bayern are not ready to sell him either after splashing £45 million on him last summer.

Mane has a good relationship with manager Thomas Tuchel and is looking forward to next season.

He has bagged seven goals and five assists in 24 Bundesliga games.

The Senegal international also has five goals and an assist to his name across other competitions.

Despite the decent return in front of goal, Mane has had a poor campaign by his standards.

He scored 120 goals in six seasons at Liverpool and was tipped to help improve the Bayern attack.

The Bavarians brought him to the Allianz Arena as Robert Lewandowski’s replacement.

The former Southampton forward has two years left on his contract and will be keen to prove himself.

Bayern failed to live up to expectations in Europe and were not as dominating as they used to be domestically.

Mane’s struggles contributed to their woeful campaign, and the club believe he will finally come good next term.
