Sadio Mane and Joao Cancelo will not be at Bayern Munich next season

Sadio Mane and Joao Cancelo have no future at Bayern Munich and will leave the club this summer, according to Sky Germany.

Mane joined the Bavarians this summer in a deal worth around £45 million from Liverpool, but he has failed to live up to expectations.

The 31-year-old has scored seven Bundesliga goals this season but has missed 15 big chances.

Former Bayern manager Julian Nagelsmann reduced his game time after some disappointing performances and it has not increased under new boss Thomas Tuchel.

In their last game, a 6-0 win over FC Schalke, he only got five minutes off the bench. However, he did manage to set up Noussair Mazraoui’s goal.

Mane’s recent bust-up with Leroy Sane has not helped his cause. The former Liverpool man reportedly punched Sane in the mouth after a disagreement.

The club have put Mane up for sale this summer after an uninspiring first season.

He could be set for a Premier League return as only English clubs can afford his £17.4m salary.

Cancelo joined Bayern on a six-month loan from Manchester City in January. He fell down the pecking order in Pep Guardiola’s side and decided to head out on loan for game time.

However, he has only featured 19 times since the move and has not nailed down a starting spot.

There is a £60m buy clause in the loan deal, but Bayern don’t want to activate it or negotiate the fee.

However, Cancelo is adamant he does not want to play for Guardiola and will likely leave City this summer.

La Liga champions Barcelona are reportedly eyeing a move for the Portuguese international, but it may not be possible with their financial situation.
