Wolves ahead of Burnley and Brentford in race for El Bilal Toure

Almeria forward El Bilal Toure is reportedly attracting plenty of interest from the Premier League.

Wolverhampton Wanderers, Burnley and Brentford are all monitoring the 21-year-old, according to the Daily Mail.

However, Wolves hold an advantage over the other clubs as they have a good relationship with the Spanish club.

The talented youngster is an academy graduate of French outfit Reims where he made over 60 senior appearances before joining Almeria last summer.

The Mali international has made an impressive start to life in Spain, bagging six goals and two assists in 19 league appearances.

His current contract at the Power Horse Stadium expires in 2028, but he could leave this summer for a fee of around £25 million.

Julen Lopetegui’s side secured Premier League survival last weekend following their 1-0 victory over Aston Villa.

They were in the bottom three when the Spanish boss took over in November, but he led them to some excellent results to seal their top-flight status.

Despite improving under the former Sevilla boss, Wolves have struggled to score goals. Ruben Neves and Daniel Podence are their top goalscorers with six goals.

The Midlands club also have Raul Jimenez and Diego Costa on their books, but they have been unconvincing this term.

Jimenez has contributed just one assist in 13 Premier League matches, while Costa has scored one goal in 21 league appearances.

The two players face uncertain futures at Molineux, with a squad overhaul expected this summer.
