Man Utd, Chelsea and Tottenham interested in wantaway Aston Villa goalie Emiliano Martinez

Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez is ready to leave the club this summer after three years at Villa Park.

According to TyC Sports, Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in securing his services.

Since leaving Arsenal after an eight-year spell, Martinez has emerged as one of the top keepers in the Premier League.

Martinez moved to Villa for £20 million after helping Arsenal secure their 14th FA Cup title. He has been excellent for the Villains.

The 30-year-old kept 15 clean sheets in his first season with Villa. He recorded 11 last term and has reached 11 this time around with a handful of games left.

Martinez helped Argentina win the 2022 World Cup in Qatar in November, taking the Golden Glove.

However, he is ready to quit Villa and join a new club this summer. A move to one of the ‘Big Six’ clubs will tempt Martinez.

Chelsea will sell one of Kepa Arrizabalaga or Edouard Mendy this summer. They want to bring in a new number one.

United keeper David De Gea is no longer the reliable figure he once was, and the club is searching for a replacement.

Tottenham want to replace Hugo Lloris after an underwhelming campaign for Spurs. Injuries have also blighted his season.

All three Premier League clubs are searching for new keepers and have Martinez on their radar, but there is no favourite in the race.

Martinez has five years left on his deal with Villa, and they are under no pressure to sell.
