Premier League giants Liverpool are set to fork out a whopping £200 million during the upcoming summer window, according to SPORT.
Off the back of a stellar 2021/22 season where they won the FA and League Cups and reached the final of the Champions League, Liverpool have endured a dismal campaign.
The Reds have been knocked out of all cup competitions and currently sit eighth in the Premier League table heading into the final stages.
Liverpool are expected to be active this summer, with manager Jurgen Klopp eager to guide the club into contention for honours again.
“We will spend in the summer, that’s what I can say, definitely,” Klopp said in a press conference.

“For who and how many? There’s nothing to say about it really – we are busy, you can imagine.”
With Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita on their way out of Anfield as free agents, Liverpool will target reinforcements in the middle of the park.
Liverpool were previously linked with a move for Jude Bellingham but pulled out of the race.
The potential finances involved in a deal for the Borussia Dortmund prodigy, who is also wanted by Real Madrid and Manchester City, put him beyond their reach.
The Reds have since drawn up a five-man alternative shortlist which includes Declan Rice and Moises Caicedo – both of whom have been tipped to make big moves.
Despite getting ready to bid farewell to Robert Firmino, Liverpool are unlikely to pursue any attacking acquisitions having brought in Cody Gakpo a few months back.
A new centre-back could also be on the menu, with Liverpool reportedly eyeing a move for Chelsea academy graduate Levi Colwill following an impressive loan spell with Brighton & Hove Albion.
