Chelsea striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has revealed he wants to return to Barcelona.
Mundo Deportivo has shared a clip in which the Gabonese star picks Camp Nou as his next destination.
Aubameyang moved to Barca from Arsenal during the second half of the last season, and the transfer proved a bargain after he delivered goods.
While quickly becoming a fan favourite, the Gabonese international was at the heart of a stellar run under Xavi, leading Barca to a second-place finish in La Liga.
However, the arrival of Robert Lewandowski saw Aubameyang deemed as surplus to requirements and he joined Chelsea.
The 33-year-old has had an underwhelming campaign and will likely leave the club this summer.
Aubameyang has failed to nail down a regular place in a turbulent season characterised by several managerial changes, making only 15 appearances in the Premier League.
Despite being tied to the Blues until 2024, the former Borussia Dortmund star reportedly wants to terminate his contract and facilitate a move to Barca.
Barca are also open to reuniting with Aubameyang, with their current financial troubles making him an ideal signing.
However, his transfer depends on whether Barca can overcome financial fair play restrictions. The Catalan giants also want him to take a significant pay cut.
The Blaugrana are in the market for attacking reinforcements, with Vitor Roque and Lionel Messi among the top targets.
Messi’s case looks complicated as Barca are still uncertain whether La Liga will allow them to re-sign him amidst their financial crisis.
Roque is a more realistic target, and Barca are among the front-runners to land the Brazilian teenager.
