Serie A champions Napoli want to sign Christian Pulisic from Chelsea this summer, according to the Daily Mail.
The Partenopei are looking to reinforce their squad after winning only their third Scudetto. They have turned their attention to the American international.
Pulisic has had an unremarkable spell in England since signing for them in 2019. Injuries have blighted his progress and punctured his consistency.
Chelsea’s ever-revolving door of managers has made it difficult for him to nail down a starting berth at the club.
The 24-year-old has bagged only one goal and two assists in 27 appearances this season. His overall tally is 26 goals and 21 assists in 147 appearances.
Pulisic has only a year left on his deal with the London club and is looking for the exit door. Chelsea are open to selling after bloating their squad.
Napoli will consider signing the former Borussia Dortmund attacker as he will come cheap with only 12 months on his deal.
Juventus, AC Milan and Atletico Madrid have also been linked with Pulisic, but Napoli are leading the race.
Chelsea will reportedly try to include Victor Osimhen in any deal for Pulisic. The Blues are looking for a new striker and they want to sign the Nigerian.
However, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has publicly claimed he won’t sell Osimhen.
Despite this, many people believe an offer of around £130 million will bring the Italian filmmaker to the negotiating table.
Bayern Munich have shown interest in Osimhen, but the price tag has deterred them. They are now pursuing Randal Kolo Muani.
Chelsea, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are chasing Osimhen, but the Blues could have the edge with the Serie A club interested in Pulisic.
