Manchester United’s Amad Diallo set to go on loan again next season

Manchester United loanee Amad Diallo has enjoyed an excellent season at Sunderland

The 20-year-old has featured in 36 Championship appearances this term, bagging 12 goals and three assists.

His performances have helped the Black Cats make an unlikely push for promotion to the Premier League.

Despite his impressive displays, he will likely head out on another loan spell for the 2023-24 campaign.

According to the Sun, United could send Amad on loan to a foreign club in Holland or another country next season.

The Red Devils believe the 20-year-old has a long-term future at Old Trafford and are looking to secure a loan deal for him rather than a permanent transfer.

United signed the Ivorian from Atalanta in a deal worth £37 million in 2020. He has made only nine senior appearances for United.

His loan stint with Rangers last season was a failure, but he has showcased his talents with Sunderland this term.

He has averaged 1.1 key passes, 1.8 shots and 1.7 dribbles per game for Tony Mowbray’s side (as per WhoScored).

Considering the huge competition, there may not be a place for Amad at Old Trafford next term.

However, that could change if he proves his skills with a foreign club next season.
