Brighton and Hove Albion want Arsenal attacker Reiss Nelson on a free

Brighton & Hove Albion want to sign Arsenal attacker Reiss Nelson for free this summer, reports the Daily Mail.

The 23-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and has been offered a new deal.

However, Nelson is yet to sign it, and several clubs are monitoring the situation.

The Seagulls will offer the former England youth international a deal in the summer if he does not sign one with Arsenal before then.

Nelson is yet to start a Premier League game this term, with all his eight appearances coming off the bench.

The Gunners academy graduate has weighed in with three goals and two assists.

He also has an assist in seven games across other competitions.

Nelson spent last season on loan at the Eredivisie club Feyenoord and was with Bundesliga club Hoffenheim in 2018-19.

It remains to be seen whether he will get opportunities to play more regularly if he stays with the Gunners beyond this season.

AC Milan, Aston Villa, Fulham and West Ham United are also interested in recruiting his services.

Nelson dreams of playing for the Three Lions, and he needs to spend more minutes on the pitch to earn a call-up.

He may need to leave Arsenal and end his 16-year association with them to fulfil his international dreams.

Brighton could be playing in Europe next term and need more depth in their ranks.

Nelson will get the chance to play more at the Amex Stadium and should not hesitate to join the Seagulls.
