PSG initiate contact with Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani

Paris Saint-Germain have established contact with Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani, who has emerged as one of the top targets for the French giants.

Les Parisiens have prioritised the signing of a new striker in the summer due to the lack of depth in their squad, while Lionel Messi has also been linked with an exit.

According to RMC Sport, PSG’s Qatari owners admire Kolo Muani’s profile, having been left impressed by his performances in the 2022 World Cup.

The 24-year-old earned a spot on the back of an impressive club form. He made a significant impact after scoring the winning goal for France in the semi-finals, followed by a good display in the final.

Kolo Muani carried on his excellent form after the World Cup despite Frankfurt’s struggles, racking up 13 goals and ten assists in Bundesliga this season.

The former Nantes star’s stock has skyrocketed, catching the attention of European heavyweights.

However, Frankfurt are steadfast on keeping Kolo Muani beyond the summer and have put a club record price tag worth €100 million on him.

The chances of his continuity look bleak due to Frankfurt’s lowly ninth position in Bundesliga, meaning they are set to miss out on the Champions League qualification.

Despite their deep pockets, PSG will have to fend off Manchester United and Bayern Munich for Kolo Muani.

There are reports claiming that the Frenchman prefers a move to Bayern, who are also in the market for a centre-forward.

PSG are also keeping tabs on Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, who football advisor Luis Campos has earmarked as a top target.
