21 Premier League players that have scored more than Chelsea since the international break

Chelsea have struggled in front of goal this season, with 42 strikes in 43 appearances across all competitions to their name.

They have been dumped out of three knockout competitions as a result.

The Blues are also struggling in the Premier League and are 11th after 31 games.

Qualification for European football for next season appears to be a foregone conclusion, with 11 points between Chelsea and the top seven.

Things have been worse for the Stamford Bridge club since action resumed from the last international break.

They have played six games across the Champions League and Premier League but have scored just once.

Chelsea lost 2-0 to Aston Villa in their first game after the break which cost manager Graham Potter his job.

A goalless draw with Liverpool followed before a 1-0 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

They suffered a 2-0 loss to Real Madrid away from home in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.

Chelsea opened the scoring in their next match against Brighton and Hove Albion but eventually lost 2-1.

Madrid also won 2-0 in the second leg at Stamford Bridge as the Blues’ goalscoring woes under interim manager Frank Lampard continued.

They play Brentford on Wednesday and will hope to finally get their first win in eight games.

Chelsea will need to keep Bees hitman Ivan Toney in check to have a chance of winning.

The England international striker has two goals more than the entire Blues squad over the last six games.

Toney is not only the Premier League player that has bagged more than Chelsea since the international break.
