PSG interested in reuniting with Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby

Paris Saint-Germain are considering bringing back Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby to Parc des Princes, reports Foot Mercato.

An academy product of PSG, Diaby struggled for game time with the first team and left the capital club to join Leverkusen in 2019.

The French winger has grown into one of the best young wingers in Europe, netting 48 goals and 46 assists overall for Leverkusen.

Diaby has been at his usual best this season, playing a pivotal role in Leverkusen’s revival under Xabi Alonso. He was on the scoresheet in the recent victory over Eintracht Frankfurt.

The 23-year-old’s current deal expires in 2025, and PSG are interested in reuniting with their former academy graduate.

Les Parisiens are looking to bolster their attacking options this summer, with Lionel Messi edging closer towards an exit.

There are also rumours that Hugo Ekitike, who joined PSG last summer, could leave Parc des Princes on loan.

PSG face competition from a handful of clubs in the Premier League and Serie A for Diaby.

Leverkusen will want to sell him to the highest bidder, and the asking price will be no less than around €70 million.

Arsenal have been tracking the French winger for a long time, while Newcastle United have also been linked with him.

PSG have identified Frankfurt forward Randal Kolo Muani as a potential target for the summer, but Manchester United and Bayern Munich are also in contention.
