Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira under growing pressure at Selhurst Park

Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira is under pressure following his side’s poor run, reports talkSPORT.

The Eagles are yet to win in the Premier League in 2023 and were recently dumped out of the FA Cup by Southampton.

Palace are 12th in the league table after 25 games, but only five points separate them from the relegation zone.

They are concerned about falling into a full-blown battle against the drop.

Palace could be forced to act if Vieira does not start getting results.

The Selhurst Park club have lost four and drawn five of the nine league games played this year.

They face a tough run of games and the results could have a huge say on Vieira’s future.

Palace play Manchester City on Saturday before meeting bitter rivals Brighton & Hove Albion on Wednesday.

A London derby against league leaders Arsenal next Sunday is next on the agenda.

The international break is afterwards, and failure to pick up impressive results could spell the end of Vieira’s reign.

The Palace hierarchy could have a couple of managerial options on their radar, and they may act if the situation does not change.

A relegation battle could be on the cards and Vieira needs to start delivering the goods sooner rather than later.

The Gunners legend joined the Eagles ahead of the 2021-22 campaign. He led them to a 12th-place finish, 13 points above the bottom three.

Palace were expected to do better this term, but there has not been much improvement and it could cost Vieira his job.
