AS Roma forward Paulo Dybala has refused to address his future amid reports linking him with a move to Manchester United.
The 29-year-old joined Jose Mourinho’s side on a free transfer last summer after seeing out his contract with Juventus and has quickly become one of the leading figures for the Giallorossi.
The Argentina international is Roma’s top scorer this season, with 12 goals and seven assists in 25 games across all competitions.
Dybala has wasted no time becoming a fan favourite at the Stadio Olimpico, but his long-term future may lie away from the club.
Several reports claim the player has a €20 million release clause in his contract which is lower for clubs outside the Italian top flight who can secure his signature for just €12m at the end of the season.
Dybala reportedly has interest from Premier League clubs, with Man United and Newcastle United monitoring his development.
However, the World Cup winner says he does not know what will happen next season but insists he focused on his side’s upcoming games.
“Surely, we’ll talk about this later on,” Dybala said in an interview with Marca. “My future is here, I want to bring Roma as high as possible, and I think we can do it.
“I don’t know what will happen in the future. The next games are the most important things. It’s great to help the team. We are in a good situation, fighting for a Champions League placement.
“It’s not easy because there are many top clubs. We are confident about the Europa League, but it won’t be easy either. Hopefully, I can help the team win more games.”
Dybala is spearheading Roma’s hunt for a Champions League berth for the first time since the 2017/18 campaign.
Mourinho’s side are currently fourth in Serie A, level on points with AC Milan and three behind second-placed Inter Milan.
A top-four finish is well within their grasp this season, but they will first switch their attention to the Europa League with a last-16 first-leg clash against Real Sociedad coming up later tonight.
