Napoli’s star duo Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Khvaratskhelia took centre stage once again after helping their side cruise to a 2-0 victory over Sassuolo.

The duo are the most lethal in Europe, having combinedly contributed to 49 goals this season.

The Partenopei are also inching close towards the title after having established a 17-point lead at the summit.

Roma 1-0 Verona: Solbakken scores his first goal as Gillarossi move to top three

AS Roma scraped a 1-0 win against Hellas Verona, thanks to the strike from Ola Solbakken, who scored his first goal for Giallorossi.

Benefiting from Leanardo Spinazzola’s flick, the Norwegian midfielder found the net with a precise finish from his left foot.

Jose Mourinho’s side have moved to third in the Serie A standings with 44 points, only three behind Inter Milan.

Moise Kean opened the account after a brilliant cross from Filip Kostic.

World Cup hero Angel Di Maria scored the winning goal with a magnificent finish from outside the box.

The hosts offered more threat in the latter stages, but goalkeeper Mattia Perin was up to the task to ensure the Bianconeri collected a clean sheet.

Despite having been docked 11 points, Max Allegri’s men are taking giant steps towards European places as they are seventh in the table, only three points off the final Champions League spot.

Monza 0-1 AC Milan: Junior Messias’ goal seals an important away win for Milan

Following a mini collapse since the turn of the year, AC Milan have recovered well in recent weeks, and they picked up their third consecutive victory against Monza.
