Tottenham Hotspur left-back Ryan Sessegnon to miss up to six weeks with hamstring problem

Tottenham Hotspur will be without Ryan Sessegnon for up to six weeks, according to the Daily Mail.

The English left-back is down with a hamstring problem, which has dealt Spurs another injury blow.

The north London club will be without Hugo Lloris for the next eight weeks after the French goalkeeper hurt his knee against Manchester City.

Uruguayan midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur also suffered a serious knee injury against Leicester City at the weekend.

He will now be out of action for the rest of the season.

Sessegnon is the latest player to join Tottenham’s treatment table after injuring himself in training.

The 22-year-old was not included in the matchday squad that lost 4-1 to the Foxes on Saturday.

The extent of the injury is unknown, but Sessegnon is expected to be out for at least a month.

Yves Bissouma is also unavailable as he is currently recovering from ankle surgery.

The Mali international midfielder fractured his left ankle after the game against Man City.

Manager Antonio Conte has now been left sweating over the fitness of some of his key players.

Sessegnon has featured in 17 Premier League games this term and has bagged two goals.

He has played six games across other competitions. The former Fulham star has played at both right and left wing-back this term.

January deadline day signing Pedro Porro featured at right wing-back against Leicester. The Spaniard had a game to forget on his debut and will hope to do better next time.

Spurs are thin in midfield right now. They could struggle for the rest of the campaign as they look to finish in the top four.
