Manchester United have tabled a new proposal to Argentine attacker Alejandro Garnacho, reports Fabrizio Romano.
The youngster has been in fine form after making his full debut for the Red Devils last October.
Garnacho has bagged three goals and claimed four assists in 23 games across all competitions this term.
Man United manager Erik ten Hag is a massive fan of the 18-year-old, and the club want him to sign until 2028.
Advanced conversations are ongoing between the Red Devils and Garnacho’s representatives.
The Argentine is in line for new wages and an extended deal and his image rights will also be addressed.
Garnacho joined Man United from Atletico Madrid’s academy in 2020 and hit the ground running.
The Madrid-born forward signed his first professional contract with the club in July 2021.
Garnacho caught the attention of Man United fans last February. His solo goal in the FA Youth Cup win over Everton was nominated for the club’s Goal of the Month award.
The former Spain youth international was called up to the Argentina senior team last March. He was part of an initial 44-man squad for their two World Cup qualifiers.
The Red Devils sensation made the final 33-man squad for the fixtures but did not make his debut.
He has since appeared for Argentina under-20 and could make his bow for the senior side when they next play.
Garnacho could also be in contention for the PFA Young Player of the Year award at the end of the term.
He is arguably the best teenager in the Premier League right now, and Man United must keep him by all means amid reports linking him with an exit.
