Liverpool suffered their seventh Premier League defeat of the season at the hands of Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
The Midlands club strolled to a comfortable 3-0 victory at Molineux.
The Reds have been poor defensively this term and were 2-0 down after 12 minutes.
A counter-attack from Wolves in the 71st minute was the final straw, and it left Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher seething.
Jurgen Klopp’s side were pitiful at the back without the injured Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate.
Joel Matip and Joe Gomez were paired in central defence, and their performances made Carragher take to his Twitter account to slam them.
It’s not too difficult to play Centre Back next to the leader of the back four, judge CB’s when they have to lead themselves.

Shambolic #LFC
Liverpool have had to rely on Van Dijk at the back, and the likes of Matip and Gomez have enjoyed playing alongside him.
However, both centre-backs struggled against the team that have scored the least league goals this term.
Liverpool are without a league win since the Dutchman picked up a hamstring problem against Brentford on January 2.
He is expected to return to action later this month but that is unlikely to change their fortunes.
Konate could miss up to three weeks due to a hamstring injury after picking up the knock during last weekend’s FA Cup defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Frenchman and Van Dijk are the best centre-backs at Liverpool, and being without them comes at a cost.
The Reds are 10th in the Premier League after 20 games. They could miss out entirely on European football next season if they do not improve at both ends of the pitch.
Injuries throughout the campaign have robbed them of some of their best players.
Failure to do plenty of business during the January transfer window could do them plenty of harm going forward this term.
