Leicester City table £20m bid for Leeds United ace Jack Harrison

Leicester City have submitted a £20 million bid for Leeds United forward Jack Harrison, according to The Athletic.

The Foxes are looking to improve their attacking options, and manager Brendan Rodgers has eyes on the 26-year-old.

Harrison has 18 months remaining on his current contract, and Leeds are yet to respond to Leicester’s bid.

The west Yorkshire club are yet to decide between selling the Englishman or handing him an extension. Harrison’s decision is also currently unknown.

The former New York City FC man has been a key player for the Whites since he joined them in 2018.

Harrison scored 16 league goals and claimed nine assists during the previous two seasons to help keep Leeds up. He has a goal and four assists in 17 Premier League games this term.

The Elland Road club are 15th in the table, with just a point separating them from the relegation zone.

Leeds manager Jesse Marsch is unlikely to be open to losing such an important player right now.

Leicester also have the same points as Leeds but are in 14th place due to a superior goal difference.

They need more quality attacking firepower, and landing Harrison would help them in front of goal.

The King Power Stadium club has finished in the top half of the table since 2017-18.

However, they are in a relegation battle this term and need top players.

Leeds will be strengthening a direct rival if they sell Harrison to Leicester.

There are three days left in the transfer window, and both teams need to get a deal done very soon.
