Everton are one of the Premier League clubs keeping tabs on Villarreal attacking midfielder Arnaut Danjuma, according to BBC reporter Kris Temple.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported earlier this week that the Netherlands international has a chance to leave the La Liga outfit before the end of the January transfer window, as the Spanish club are listening to offers.
The 25-year-old’s representatives are also in talks with several clubs across Europe.
Temple claims Danjuma’s former club Bournemouth are keen on sealing a deal in January, while the Toffees are also interested in recruiting his services.
Everton are currently 18th in the Premier League table following 18 rounds of games, and manager Frank Lampard is under huge pressure once again to deliver.
It is unknown whether the Blues board will give the former Chelsea boss plenty of time to turn things around, but it appears he will be backed in the January transfer market, and Danjuma has seemingly emerged as a target.
The Dutch winger scored 17 goals and weighed in with seven assists in 35 Championship games for the Cherries in 2020-21, earning a move to Villarreal ahead of the 2021-22 season.
He ended his debut campaign in the Spanish top-flight with 16 goals and four assists across 34 games in the La Liga and Champions League, and Everton could do with such a quality attacker in the final third going forward.
The Toffees have struggled in front of goal in 2022-23, with just 14 league goals to their name.
Six of those goals have come from Demarai Gray and Anthony Gordon, and the squad needs quality attackers adding this month if they want to boost their survival chances.
Danjuma has scored just four times in 15 games for the Yellow Submarine this term, but he started just nine of them, and he can help fire Everton to safety if a deal goes through.
