Declan Rice posts Twitter message after West Ham’s 3-1 victory over Fulham

Declan Rice took to Twitter to post a message after West Ham United claimed a 3-1 victory over Fulham on Sunday.

David Moyes’ side fell behind early in the game after Andreas Pereira fired the opener from a tight angle.

However, the Brazilian conceded a penalty by fouling Craig Dawson from a corner and Jarrod Bowen made no mistake to net the equaliser from the spot.

Gianluca Scamacca, who arrived in the summer in a £30 million deal, continued his brilliant form by bagging the Hammers’ second with a composed finish.

Michail Antonio replaced the Italian for the final 10 minutes but added a third after a defensive mix-up in injury time. Rice was delighted with the result.

West Ham made a dismal start to the 2022-23 season, losing their opening three matches before their first win at Aston Villa

The Hammers subsequently recorded a draw and two more losses to sour the mood at the London Stadium.

This was hugely disappointing as they had spent heavily in the summer transfer window on new recruits.

However, things have turned for the better in recent weeks as Moyes’ side have claimed three consecutive victories in all competitions.

The east London outfit registered a comfortable 2-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at the start of this month with Scamacca and Bowen on the scoresheet.

They produced a brilliant display today to claim back-to-back victories in the English top-flight after their 1-0 Europa Conference League success against Anderlecht.
