Arsenal vs Fulham Preview – Prediction, how to watch & line-ups

Saturday’s Premier League action closes out at the Emirates Stadium as a rampant Arsenal take on newly-promoted Fulham.

Mikel Arteta could not have hoped for a better start to the season, with his high-flying Gunners side winning all three opening Premier League matches via an aggregate score of 9-2.

A new era has begun in north London, but per the latest Arsenal news, Nicola Pepe won’t be a part of it, as he has joined Ligue 1 side Nice on a season-long loan.

Standing between the Gunners and a 100% four-game start to a new top-flight season for the first time since 2004/05 are their fellow London rivals Fulham.

Despite a dismal EFL Cup second-round elimination to lower-league Crawley Town, the Cottagers have been a tough nut to crack early in the season.

Match Preview

Arsenal

In the opening three Arsenal fixtures this Premier League season, Arteta’s men have opened the scoring within 25 minutes on each occasion, scoring twice inside the first ten minutes in a 3-0 win at Bournemouth last time out.

Hot favourites to dispatch Fulham, the Gunners are unbeaten in their last 33 Premier League matches against promoted clubs at home (W28, D5).

It gets better for Arsenal here, as they’ve not lost any of their 30 home clashes against the Cottagers across all competitions (W24, D6).

Fulham

Scott Parker’s lads have proved the opening-day 2-2 draw with Liverpool at home was no fluke, going unbeaten in their subsequent two league outings, including a 3-2 home triumph over Brentford last weekend.

That success against the Bees actually broke a potentially significant duck, marking the Cottagers’ first victory in 25 top-flight London derbies.

However, there’s been almost no luck in the recent Fulham fixtures against Arsenal, as they’ve only won one of their last 15 H2Hs in the Premier League (D5, L9).

Arsenal vs Fulham Prediction

It’s hard to see Arsenal not putting a fourth straight Premier League win on the board, especially with Gabriel Jesus in such red-hot form.
