Borussia Dortmund make offer for Paulo Dybala

Ahead of his impending departure from Juventus, Paulo Dybala has been approached by a number of European heavyweights and Borussia Dortmund are the latest side thought to be keen on the 28-year-old.

According to the Italian outlet Corriere Dello Sport, Der BVB are not only looking to acquire the services of Dybala in the summer but have also made a formal offer to the player’s entourage.

The offer is believed to be worth €4.5m per year, while he will also be given a ‘central role in the technical project following the predictable exit of Erling Haaland.’

Dybala has been previously linked with a move to AC Milan, Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur and Atletico Madrid, although it is Inter Milan who are reportedly on course to secure his signature.

The Argentine’s agent, Jorge Antun, however recently came out to debunk news of a contract agreement with the Nerazzurri, insisting that the ex-Palermo man is focused on the finishing current season strongly.

Antun said: “The player is exclusively focused on the end of the season, the league and the Coppa Italia final. No agreement has been reached with any team in Italy or abroad at this time.”

As earlier stated, Haaland is set for a move away from the Signal Iduna Park so Dortmund are expected to go in search of attacking options despite having already all but secured a deal for RB Salzburg youngster Karim Adeyemi.

Adam Hložek, Hugo Ekitike and Benjamin Šeško are potential targets for the Black and Yellow ahead of the upcoming transfer window which promises to be a crucial one in the club’s history.

Having recently watched Bayern Munich claim a 10th Bundesliga title in a row, Dortmund will be keen to bolster their squad as they seek to pick up their first league crown since the 2011/12 campaign.
