Crystal Palace are ready to entertain bids for Wilfried Zaha in the upcoming summer window, according to Daily Mail.
Now in the penultimate year of his contract, Zaha could finally secure a move away from Selhurst Park with the Eagles now open to cashing in to avoid losing him for free in 2023.
Arsenal and Chelsea have been linked with a move in the past but it remains to be seen whether any of the heavyweights would reignite their interest in the Ivory Coast international.
Zaha played a starring role for Patrick Vieira’s men as the South Londoners secured an impressive 3-0 victory over Arsenal on Monday to move into the top half of the Premier League table.
The winger rounded off the scoring from the spot last time out and is now up to 10 league goals this term, just one short of equalling his personal best of 11 strikes which he racked up in the 2020/21 campaign.
Zaha was evidently thrilled with his side’s display and believes they have a chance of defeating Chelsea in next week’s FA Cup semi-final. Speaking after the Arsenal game, the 29-year-old said:
“It’s a massive confidence boost – I think the quality we have, we’ve just got to impose ourselves in the games we play. It’s not about looking at the shirt badges, we’ve got quality in our team.
“If we play the way we want to play, we can hurt anyone. It [beating Arsenal] is massive because it just shows the resilience the team has. Obviously, in the past, we would score a goal and scramble.
“Now it shows that we can defend together, and we can attack together. It shows that we don’t need to look over our shoulder. We can look up the table and try to move further on.”
