Kieran Tierney makes Arsenal transfer decision amid Real Madrid interest

Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney has no plans of leaving the club amid speculation linking him with Real Madrid, football.london reports.

The Scotland international is currently in his third season with the Gunners where he has established himself as a regular in the left-back position.

Despite this, there has been constant gossip over his future. It was recently claimed that Real Madrid have their sights on landing his services.

A £50 million summer bid has been tipped from the Madrid giants, but it seems the Celtic graduate has no plans of heading for the exit door.

Tierney has been a superb addition to the Gunners ranks. The Scot has acted as the ideal successor to former fan favourite Nacho Monreal.

In his 87 appearances, he has registered four goals and 12 assists. Despite the promising statistics, his fitness has been a cause for concern.

The 24-year-old has failed to stay unscathed over a full season. Nuno Tavares has been a decent back-up this term, but he is still fairly inexperienced.

With a contract until June 2026, Tierney has no desire of leaving the Gunners. It remains to be seen whether the club share the same view.

The north London giants currently have the youngest squad in the Premier League, and they could be playing in the Champions League next term.

This could pave the way for another spending spree this summer. In the process of another rebuild, they could be tempted to accept a sale or two.

While the fringe players could be the first to leave, a £50m bid from Madrid for Tierney may test their resolve during the next transfer window.

The Gunners have been smart their spending lately with the focus on young players with experience.

They could land a low-cost replacement for Tierney and use the remaining funds for a marquee recruit.
