It’s that time of year when fans are searching for FA Cup predictions, so let’s jump on the bandwagon and tell you who will lift the trophy.

The competition has reached the semi-final stage, and the top three teams in the Premier League table are all through.

Manchester City vs Liverpool is the standout tie, while Chelsea are strongly fancied to see off Crystal Palace in the other half of the draw.

City and Liverpool are both on course for historic seasons and could have a significant impact on each other’s fortunes over the next couple of months.

Pep Guardiola’s side remain on course for the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup treble, while the Reds could go one better having already claimed the Carabao Cup.

Their meeting over the Easter weekend could be a feisty affair, with both teams stating their intent in each of their FA Cup fixtures this season.

City were particularly impressive in the previous round, sweeping to a 4-1 victory over Southampton at St Mary’s

Liverpool were pushed hard by Nottingham Forest in their last-eight tie but did a professional job to secure a 1-0 win.

Both sides are in excellent form at the moment, but we fancy City to keep their treble hopes alive with a narrow victory.

It is difficult to see anything other than a Chelsea win in the other semi-final, although it would be foolish to dismiss Palace’s chances altogether.

They deservedly beat Everton in the previous round but haven’t defeated Chelsea since 2017 and could bow out of the competition here.

While Chelsea remain in the Champions League, the FA Cup is arguably their best chance of claiming silverware this season.

City and Liverpool may well be focused on the Premier League and Champions League, which could give Chelsea an advantage in this competition.
