Real Madrid have an agreement in place with Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe over a free transfer in the summer, according to German outlet BILD.
The report also claims that the French World Cup winner would earn a staggering salary of €50 million per year at Santiago Bernabeu.
It was reported earlier that Los Blancos wouldn’t negotiate with PSG regarding Mbappe until the conclusion of the round of 16 fixtures in the Champions League between the two clubs.
However, it looks now that the Spanish giants have a pre-agreement with Mbappe, whose contract at Parc des Princes expires in the summer.
Madrid have been long touted as the next possible destination for Mbappe, especially after the La Liga giants came agonisingly close to signing him in the last summer.
The 23-year-old also later revealed that he wouldn’t have played for any club other than Los Blancos if he left the French capital.
While Madrid’s president Florentino Perez and star striker Karim Benzema have previously spoken about Mbappe’s potential arrival, Toni Kroos is the latest player to comment about the French superstar.
The German midfielder restated the club’s interest in signing Mbappe and hailed him as the best.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side are becoming increasingly confident of snapping up Mbappe this summer, having failed to bring in any big marquee signings in the last two or three transfer windows.
Elsewhere, PSG are reportedly closing in on a transfer for Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele, who is touted as the replacement for his compatriot Mbappe.
The trio of Benzema, Mbappe and Vinicius Junior in Madrid’s starting 11 must spell danger to the opponents in La Liga.
